2-port ModBUS industrial gateway / serial device server

 

Z-KEY is a device that extends networks and allows process data to pass between different IT and industrial communication architecture levels. Z-KEY guarantees the transmission of signals between ModBUS TCP-IP/ ModBUS RTU in different modes, increasing the number of nodes that can be connected and the distances that can be reached in the network. The device can also extend the serial network by operating as a Remote virtual COM transparent to the serial communication protocol.
The device is equipped with 1 Ethernet 100 Tx port and 2 serial ports (RS232/RS485, RS485)and it offers multiple configuration possibilities thanks to DIP-switches, web servers and software tools such as SDD (Seneca Discovery Device), SESC (Seneca Ethernet to Serial Connection), EASY Z-KEY. Advanced functions include support for the “Cloud BOX” IoT Server, advanced serial diagnostics, and “quarantine” mode with settable time for failing devices.
