Profinet IO <-> ModBUS RTU / TCP-IP compact gateway

The Profinet gateway R-KEY-LT-P is characterized by its compact design and small footprint. It guarantees an excellent price-performance ratio, universality of use, and optimization of network integration costs. The R-KEY-LT-P transmits data bidirectionally between Profinet IO and ModBUS RTU / TCP-IP industrial networks. Equipped with 1 serial port and 1 Ethernet 100 BaseT port, on the Profinet IO side, the device is compatible with most common PLCs supporting the same standard. On the ModBUS side, it works as a Master device on a serial capable of controlling a sub-network with 128 ModBUS RTU slave nodes. In ModBUS TCP-IP it can connect with 10 ModBUS TCP-IP servers. The device independently reads device registers on the serial bus or Ethernet and allows access by a Profinet IO controller to up to 500 variables (tags). Each ModBUS type variable (tag) is convertible to Profinet IO. Configuration and diagnostics are performed via Simatic TIA PORTAL environment (in case of system integration with Siemens PLC) and/or CODESYS softPLC.
